SCI’s Solomon named to Georgia Trend’s “40 Under 40”
Chief Operating Officer Michael Solomon was honored recently as one of Georgia Trend magazine’s “40 Under 40.” After working in corporate banking for many years, Michael followed his heart and moved into the nonprofit world when he joined SCI last year.
Michael had been very active with United Way, and his contributions there led to an invitation to join SCI’s Board of Directors. During his Board orientation, Michael learned about SCI’s programs that help seniors remain independent and decided that he wanted to fully commit himself to that cause. He immediately applied for and was selected as COO, overseeing Adult Daytime Care, Neighborhood Centers, Transportation, In-Home Care, Aging Life Care, and the kitchen.
