Miles for Meals 5k run/walk

Bring the whole family (including your dog) for this fun 5k run/walk in Daffin Park!

You can dress as your favorite food and help us  FIGHT TO END SENIOR HUNGER in our community! Race proceeds benefit SCI’s Meals on Wheels program, which brings friendly smiles and hot, healthy meals to hundreds of seniors throughout Chatham, Bryan, Liberty and Effingham Counties each day. In many cases, these seniors are homebound and this one daily meal is their only source of sustenance and interaction with someone else. Currently there are more than 400 seniors, at or below the federal poverty line, awaiting nutrition support through Meals on Wheels in Chatham County alone.

Entry fee is $25 through April 23, $30 April 24-May 16, and $35 after May 16.

Register at RunSignUp or Fleet Feet Sports
